I'm 22...living with my boyfriend (even though I'm not supposed to).... I'm about to be married in about a year.....I would say I have a punkish style, but casual sometimes and girly sometimes. Wow, what a week I have had. First of all Sunday night I got invited to Craigs parents house for dinner to celebrate their 12 year wedding anniversary so I was shocked about that. Then that night while at their parents, the night went really, really well. I had good conversations with John (craigs dad) and Carolyn ( craigs stepmom). Usually there is silence between us and we usually try to avoid looking at each other but that night there was plenty of good conversation and eye contact the whole night. Even when craig had to leave to help out one of his coworkers and I stayed at the house with his parents, it went pretty well. I was very amazed. I am glad it is finally happening though, we've been waiting for this for so long. Anyway, later on that night I was in the kitchen talking with carolyn and helping her put away dinner and what not, We started talking about the wedding. I casually mentioned that we were looking at the price of weddings and that we weren't sure if we could pull of paying for it and she looked at me and said "don't worry about it, we'll take care of it" I was very happy at that point, that takes off a lot of pressure on us. She has also said that I don't need to rent my dress, which I had been planning on doing, and that she would help me get my dress, or make one. She was also saying that we could have the wedding at their church for only $350 and that she is gonna be doing all the catering herself and that her parents would serve for us. Also she is wanting to make all the decorations and all that kind of stuff. I am soooooo happy that all this is coming together. We have only 9 months to get this wedding planned. At least it is more time than her son gave her.....LOL. (He only gave them 3 months notice.) So now I have to find a place to hold the reception that will allow us to do our own catering. If anybody has any ideas please let me know.
Well, it is getting late and my hands are getting tired from typing so I had better get to bed. School starts on Monday for me and I need to start getting to bed earlier and getting up earlier. After school starts I will post on how that went.
(SIDE NOTE: I did get all my financial aid ($1350) so thank god for that. and I have signed up for all but 3 classes. The 3 classes I will end up orange carding into. Will let ya know on monday how that goes)

Well, I have finally finished putting all my old journal entries into this one. Now I only have to put up with one journal. Besides I like this journal better than livejournal anyway. As for my live journal, I am gonna have them both deleted. I don't want them anymore. I will end up sending a mass email out letting people know I have moved journals.
As for everything else going on, I still haven't gotten my financial aid crap done. I went down there last week and it turns out I have the wrong tax forms for my mom. I am supposed to have her original 1040. But b/c she did her taxes at Jackson Hewitt they will not give me a copy of her 1040. And my mom can't do it b/c she is still in jail. So, after the guy at TVI talked to his boss, they are gonna try and do a Dependant Override. Which means I have to have a letter from craig saying that he is supporting me, paying rent and bills. Then I have to provide documentation that my mom is in Jail. Once I have all that I can go back down to TVI and try all over again and hope that this will get my financial aid crap done with. I need my grant money in order to go to school and to get my car fixed and pay bills. I just hope this gets done b/c If I don't get into school this semester I won't get my certificate. Which means I'll have to start all over where ever we end up moving to. I kinda want this certificate before we move so that when we do eventually move then I can get a job right away. So, Hopefully this will work out. I have to go down to TVI tomorrow and turn in those papers for the dependant override and hope that it works.
As for the Wedding, nothing new has happened. We are waiting to talk to craigs parents about money and all that good stuff. Patty (one of my maids of honor) has mentioned the gazebo in old town to have the wedding which will be half the price of the church and alot less to decorate. And maybe if that works out we can have the reception at La Posada. Who knows. As more things develop I will put them in here.
Well, It is getting late and I need my beauty sleep, so I am gonna hit the sack. Will write again later.

Well, it's official. We have announced the engagement to craigs dad and stepmom. They took a lot better than we thought they would. Carolyn (stepmom) just said "well congratulations, when's the date?" And his dad kinda gave us a look like ok, if this is really what you want. Carolyn said too that she does weddings...lol. So obviously she is willing to help with decorations and the cake and stuff. I am sure that on wednesday when craig meets his dad that they'll have a talk about all this. I just pray that he doesn't give craig a hard time over this. I hope he just accepts it and then we can start talking about planning this. Maybe I'll get into their good graces by spending more time with them planning the wedding. Well, one can hope anyway. Well, I am getting really tired and should get some sleep. Will update again soon if there are any changes.

Well, It's gonna be official to craigs parents by this weekend. Craig plans on talking to his dad tomorrow about us coming over for dinner or lunch on sunday. We plan on announcing the engagement to them on that day. Hopefully everything goes well. I really hope that craigs parents are accepting of this marriage and will help in any way that they can. I will update that night to tell you what happened. As for right now, All I can do is just hope and pray it goes well. So if everyone could pray for us that his parents accept this engagement, I would really, really appreciate it.

Well, I have started this journal to document the wedding planning process. So far that process hasn't really started. We still have yet to announce it to craigs parents which we should have done a long time ago. Basically I am waiting on craig to get up the courage to say something to his dad. Craig is afraid to tell his dad b/c his dad doesn't like me all that much. His dad is worried that I am gonna break craigs heart. After 3 years together I think if I was gonna break his heart I would have done it already. Anyway, we are hopefully gonna announce it to his dad soon so that we can start planning. I have already announced it to most of my family and I've already gotten all my maids of honor and bridesmaids picked out ( my maids of honor are: My best friends Patty and Gina; and my bridesmaids are: stef, her sister michelle, my aunt debbie and my cousin sara.) We already got our colors picked out. (Medium pink and Royal Blue) and we already have a church picked out for the ceremony (god willing that his parents agree and it is open on the day we want to get married) As of right now the wedding date is July 15,2005. But that may change soon b/c after the wedding we have to go on the honeymoon (of course) and then come back and pack, then move to where ever craig is gonna be going to law school (which we haven't figured out yet). So we may end up moving the date up a month so that we can fit all that in and not be in a rush. We'll see what happens I guess. It all depends on his parents too b/c they will more than likely be paying for the majority of things, Seeing as though my parents are poor as poor can be. So if for some reason his dad decides he doesn't agree with us getting married then we have to redo all our plans and come up with a cheap wedding that we can afford by ourselves. That is gonna suck!!
I only have one favor for everyone that reads this: Please pray for us that everything with craigs parents will go smoothly. I really appreciate it.

Here I am making yet another journal. I am gonna keep my old one and just post on both.... or maybe not. that might be too much work. Anyway, I had such a good time tonight. Mike, richard, gina, patty, kris and joe all came over and hung out. Me, craig, and richard all went to castle this afternoon and met a porn star. LOL. She signed a glossy pic for craig that says "I would love to taste you". Craig is pretty proud of that..lol. Rich got his pic taken with her and a dvd. then we came back here and hung out till gina and patty got here. Of course I ended up making spaghetti for everyone but at least this time it didn't turn out so crappy. anyway, then I couldn't beleive that we all sat on the couch and watched the porn vid that rich had gotten at the signing earlier that evening with sunrise adams. It was hilarious how we were making comments on everything. Then of course me and gina started talking about wedding stuff again. I am so excited that me and craig are finally gonna get hitched. lol. I can't wait till the day of our wedding. It is gonna be so beautiful. I have already started deciding on what I want. I know it is early but I get so excited about it. I just wanna make sure that I know exactly what I want before we tell his parents so that they don't try and persuade me to think I want something else. I just hope they don't end up taking over the wedding. Anyway, It is late and I need to get to bed. I will update again later.

well, this has been an interesting weekend. Last night (friday) I babysat my cousins daughter emma jean overnight. I didn't end up getting hardly any sleep b/c I am not used to having a baby in the bed with me. so I ended up getting up like every hour to make sure she was ok. Of course she was. Earlier that night Kris and Rich had stopped by to drop off a pic that they had gotten for craig from Rachael Rotten the porn star that was at castle. Then kris said that b/c I was gonna be by myself (craig was working all night) that he would go back home and see if mom wanted to come and hang out. So later on Kris and mom came and brought pizza and movies. We watched "timeline" (good movie by the way). Then mom ended up going to sleep on the couch so they stayed over. Then saturday morning craig got home from work, we all kinda chilled for a while, they watched yugioh and I got the baby ready for her mom to come pick her up. After the baby got picked up kris and mom left. I fell asleep for like 2-3 hours. I woke up and found out that we were gonna be meeting zerby later on. so I got a shower and got ready. Well, turns out that we were meeting zerby, doug and their coworker chris and going to TD's. Well, this was the first time I had ever been there. Quite the place. Had a good time. Chris wanted to pay to have one of the girl give me a lap dance but I said no, not tonight. I did promise to let him do that next time though. (ugh, what have I gotten myself into) anyway, needless to say we had a good time and now I think we're gonna end up going there like at least once a month. Good times.... Good times. Well, It is 1:35am and I need to get up at like 7am to go with craig to his magic tournament so I had better get some sleep. Will update again at a later date.
